Monetization FAQ
Why monetize?
As a creator, you deserve to get paid for the work you create - Audiomack affords you the opportunity to make money doing what you love.
Who can get paid?
Eligibility criteria:
- Authenticated
- Based in an eligible country
What is authentication?
Authentication is the first step in the Audiomack For Creators program. In addition to being required to monetize your music, it is necessary to become a verified artist, distinguish yourself as a creator, instantly notify fans when you release content, submit your content for trending consideration, gain access to our creator tools and services, and more.
How do I get authenticated?
Getting authenticated requires users to reach a minimum requirement before being eligible to submit an application to the Audiomack team. Authentication is strictly for creators. Users who are uploading music they are not the creator of, or rights holder to, are not eligible for authentication.
Minimum threshold requirements before applying:
- Have at least two (2) uploads
- Have at least 25 followers
- Have at least 1k plays
Application requirements:
- Have a profile picture
- Link and authenticate the Twitter and/or Instagram account of the creator
You can apply for authentication here.
How am I getting paid?
Audiomack offers a variety of payment options that vary depending on region and the capabilities of our payment provider, Tipalti. To view the list of countries and available payment options please review our payments overview page.
How often can I get paid?
Audiomack pays on a net-90 basis, or three months following the earnings period (i.e. earnings for January will be paid by end of April). Once an AMP account has been funded, users can withdraw at any time, provided the withdrawal amount exceeds respective transaction fees. Once submitted, payment approval can take up to 4 business days. Once approved, payment should take no longer than 2-3 business days to process via our third-party payment provider.
How are streaming royalties calculated?
- Audiomack calculates “revenue per stream” is a variable figure that is calculated on a month-to month basis, due to the variability of advertising revenues. This number is calculated by dividing revenue generated from advertisements and subscriptions by the total number of total streams on the Audiomack platform in a calendar month. AMP creators are paid based on the number of streams of their monetized content, multiplied by the “revenue per stream,” multiplied by the AMP revenue share, which is fifty (50%) percent.
- To clarify, there is no fixed “per-stream rate.” Rather, this rate fluctuates based on a variety of factors, including what country the streams occurred in, the number of monetized streams on the platform, the amount of total revenue generated, and more.
- When Audiomack wins, creators win. It costs money to operate a platform that helps creators further their careers, but AMP exists to make sure creators are paid for their contributions. The more users our platform gains, the more money we can pay our creator community.
